November 14, 2008 10:57 AM - The Made By Hand fine art and craft show is now on at the Peel Heritage Complex (PHC).
Over 25 local artists are showcasing their one-of-a-kind works, which include contemporary jewellery, cards, pottery items, bath and beauty items, paintings and much more.
“Made By Hand is a great sale for this time of year,” said PHC spokesperson Josie Premzell.  “You can shop for unique holiday gifts and support local talent at the same time.”
Admission to the show is free; however, anyone visiting the art gallery, museum or archives in the complex must pay general admission of $2.50 for adults, $1.50 for seniors or $1 for students. Families are charged $7.
The complex is open Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m and Thursday evenings from 6-9 p.m.
The show will run until Dec. 31.
