Meadowvale’s Finest were indeed just that on Thursday night in Mississauga Touch Football League action.
Taking on the Steelers in C Division action at Port Credit Secondary School, Meadowvale came away with a 13-7 victory.
With the win, Meadowvale improved to 5-3-0 in the standings, while the Steelers dropped to 3-4-1.
This is the first year of action for Meadowvale’s Finest in the C class, after winning the D Division with a 7-2-1 record last year.
Meadowvale and the Steelers are back in action on Monday.
The Finest take on the Trailer Park Boyz at Glenforest, while the Steelers kick off against the Reggae Boyz at the Valleys.
Both games are 7:15 p.m. starts.
